Bay laurel is an aromatic plant with a very strong aroma. It is commonly used in cuisine all over the world to flavor stews, broths, marinades and soups, meat and fish dishes, to flavor sauces and game, to flavor some cured meats but also drinks and desserts.

Its leaves do not lose their aroma after cooking. However, it is recommended to add it to dishes only at the end of cooking so that its very intense aroma does not prevail over the other flavors.
